Glenn Martin, DDS, comes home from a tough day at work to find his family preoccupied with their own interests. He sits down to read and discovers that Singer Park, a beloved place park from his youth, “Singer Park,” is about to be demolished. This inspires him to take his family on a road trip to save the park and hopefully reconnect their familial bond. After some misadventures, it is Jackie that convinces Glenn that the family should stay on the road.

Glenn, fed up with the family’s dependence on electronics, takes the gang to Amish country. The Martins soon acclimate themselves into the society, but things quickly backfire when Conor finds himself engaged to the town spinster. NOTABLE GUEST CAST: Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls), Will Sasso (MadTV)

Life in the RV really takes its toll on Jackie so Glenn decides to remodel it to ease her woes. On their way to RV Planet, the Martins pick up a hitchhiker, Bobby Panache. Bobby instantly charms Jackie and the kids with his flamboyant style and Queer-Eye fashion sense when he redecorates the RV his way. Now, a chastised Glenn must devise a way to lose Bobby and reclaim his family’s adoration. NOTABLE GUEST CAST: Alan Tudyk (Firefly, V)

After getting lost, Jackie suggests to Glenn to get a North Star navigation system. Glenn begrudgingly agrees, and soon secretly strikes up a friendship with the breathy operator on the end. A Fatal Attraction-like scenario unfolds and the North Star Woman kidnaps Jackie. It is up to Glenn and the kids, with all their newly home- schooled knowledge, to save Jackie from a death defying scrapyard battle with the crazy North Star woman. Jackie, determined not to let Glenn ruin another Halloween for the family -- which he spoils every year with his anti-candy stance -- hosts a party in the RV park they have settled into for the night. Glenn is charged with procuring all party candy from the local store, where he meets Erasmus, an old man who tells the legend of a werewolf. Once Glenn rediscovers the glory of candy, he finds the curse of the beast may lie within himself!

When Jackie gets word of their college reunion, she suggests Glenn use this opportunity to gain Conor’s respect. When they arrive, it is clear Glenn was not as “cool” as he remembered. Desperate, he tries to befriend, Tucker Wade, a bullying, former football player, to help prove to Conor that he was once cool. However, he soon regrets his decision when Conor sparks to Tucker. Glenn becomes suspicious of Wendy, believing her to be some sort of spy. When mysterious ninja-like children take siege on the RV, they reveal they are actually North Korean gymnasts who have been searching for their national treasure: Wendy. Now, the despotic, baby-armed coach, Mr. Cho sets out to reclaim Wendy and she goes willingly when she realizes that Glenn does not want her around. Glenn later realizes that the family needs Wendy and sets out to rescue her at gymnastics competition.

As Courtney takes home another first-place trophy, Conor feels worthless. Trying to lift his spirits, Jackie suggests they visit the circus. During a performance, Glenn’s called upon to perform an emergency dental service, and soon becomes the circus dentist. Unfortunately, Conor fails at even the simplest of menial circus jobs and is about to give up until an elephant sits on his head inadvertently making him the act to see. When the family sees this act, they try to convince a stubborn Conor that he is being exploited and violated.

Jackie, feeling a little eco-guilt, convinces Glenn to visit a “green community” run by the illustrious Rick Montana. Glenn is set on hating this fellow, though finds him charming. The two, much to Jackie’s chagrin, strike up a Bromance. Jackie soon discovers that Rick Montana might not be all he is cracked up to be.
